Introduction
What Seedance 2.5 is, what it can make, and where to start.
Seedance25.video is a web studio for generating short cinematic video with the Seedance model family. You write a prompt — or upload a starting frame — pick a length and a resolution, and the studio renders a clip you can download.
Everything runs in the browser. There is nothing to install, and no GPU of your own to rent.
What you can make
- Text to video — describe a shot and get a clip back. See Text to video.
- Image to video — animate a still image, or drive a clip between a first and last frame. See Image to video.
- Reference-guided video — attach reference images, video, or audio so a character, a look, or a motion carries into the output.
- Native audio — the Seedance 2.5 models can generate a soundtrack along with the picture, rather than leaving you a silent clip.
Clip length runs from 4 seconds up to 30 seconds on Seedance 2.5, at 480p, 720p, or 1080p. The older Seedance 2.0 line goes up to 15 seconds, and Seedance 2.0 Pro adds a 4K option.

Seedance 2.5 is the default and the most capable. The 2.0 line is cheaper per second and useful for drafting: rough out a shot on Fast or Mini, then re-run the prompt you like on 2.5.
